If you have one hyper-optimized character using said mechanics it makes balancing encounters insanely difficult. The construct's main benefits are that 1) it gains the damage bonus from your Overdrive and 2) it can use many of your Unstable action feats. A very effective build is to use your construct to make ranged attacks while you also attack with a bow.
